Cocoon Foundation Charitable Trust has established Akshatam College of Nursing in 2022, with a vision to provide qualitative nursing professionals with humanity and divine healing to the healthcare industry of the country. In the year 2022 the college started with 3 nursing courses. Including Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM) with an intake of 20 students, General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with an intake of 30 students and B.sc Nursing with an intake of 40 students. In the year 2023, the college started Post Basic B.sc nursing with an intake of 40 students. Currently the college is functioning with an intake of 190 students.

Our AKSHATAM College of Nursing is approved by Health and Family Welfare Department Sachivalay Gandhinagar, Gujarat Nursing Council Ahmedabad, and is affiliated to Hemchandrachary North Gujarat University, Patan.

Each subject covered in each of these types of nursing courses is fundamental to professional nursing practice that enables students to work as professional nurses. Besides, these courses also help the students to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding in the field of research, administration and education.

Our institute has all kinds of facilities within campus including well-equipped anatomy laboratory, advanced skills lab serving as prototype demonstration and learning facility for students to develop the desired abilities. The Skills Lab is equipped with various skill stations as per the skill requirements of the students. The campus also has a well-equipped library with ample seats and latest edition of all kinds of books and a NABH accredited hospital for clinical posting and campus placement facility. Along with studies, our students are given advanced training in sports and all kinds of inter-college competitions. Akshatam College of Nursing is committed to providing students with qualitative nursing education with advanced knowledge and skills. To maintain a high quality of care in a changing society with a humanistic and professional approach, continuous knowledge acquisition is essential.
